When you use SuperLocale, we may collect the following data:

- Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account

- Shopify store data: Store name, domain, and content you choose to translate (product titles, descriptions, collections, pages,

and other translatable resources)

- Usage data: Translation history, language preferences, and feature usage

- Payment data: Billing information processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you access our service

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

- Provide and operate the SuperLocale translation service

- Process translations of your Shopify store content using AI (Google Gemini)

- Process payments and manage your subscription

- Send transactional emails related to your account

- Improve and develop our service

- Comply with legal obligations

4. AI Processing

SuperLocale uses Google Gemini AI to translate your store content. Your content is sent to Google's API for translation

processing. We do not use your content to train AI models. Google's data processing is governed by their terms of service.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following third parties, solely for the purpose of providing our service:

- Shopify: To read and write translations to your store via the Shopify API

- Google (Gemini AI): To process translations

- Stripe: To process payments

- Railway: Our hosting infrastructure provider

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers within the European Union and Switzerland. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and implement

appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30

days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

8. Your Rights

Under Swiss data protection law (nDSG) and the GDPR (where applicable), you have the right to:

- Access the personal data we hold about you

- Correct inaccurate data

- Request deletion of your data

- Export your data in a portable format

- Object to or restrict processing of your data
